It features luxurious, comfortable accommodation with stunning views across the Waimate Valley, yet it’s close to everything Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands have to offer.

Please note, due to the bush and river surrounds and local kiwi population, we are a child and pet-free property for safety reasons.

Your self-contained boutique accommodation features: A luxurious super-king bed, a two-person stone bath, a large shower, a spa pool, and a private outdoor area. You can self-cater if you choose with a cooktop, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is a heat pump to set to your ideal temperature, and a flat-screen television, DVD player and Bose sound system.

Free WiFi is available if you want to stay in touch while you get away from it all.

The property is secluded and peaceful. It is accessed by a kilometre-long driveway through native bush and offers views across the Waimate Valley and out to Cape Brett.

Skylark Lodge is the perfect location for star gazing and watching the spectacular night sky (weather permitting). With very little light pollution the view of the night sky, the Milky Way and constellations is a sight to see. Luxuriate in the outdoor spa and watch the magic of shooting stars and satellites passing by.
